Family Photo Day

Mom agreed to be a professional photographer for a day!! We went to Johnson's Park and tried out a bunch of different poses.

Of course, if you've ever attempted photos with children (and a dog!) you can just about imagine how it went:)

Here are some of the best. The ones of Ethan are immediately after we left the park, on our way to DQ - a bribe to smile nicely during pictures:)

Mom did a GREAT job! She took 33 pictures that afternoon. Thanks again mom!!

ETHAN's 4th BIRTHDAY!!

Ethan was very excited about his birthday this year. He had a superhero party and loved it!!! It's hard to believe that our baby is four already!!

The cake was decorated by daddy this year - I think he did a GREAT job!!1

Growing Ethan

Ethan has been changing a lot lately. He will be four next week, and we can tell:) He likes to help cook, he has been practicing shapes, and loves to work at the table while he sings songs from vacation bible school. He misses his brother though :(

LEAVES!!!

The men in the family had a blast combining our leaves with our neighbor's and jumping around in them:)

LOVE SHACK

Self explanatory!

First Grade Halloween

Ethan and Jessica got to go help with Austin's class party. It was a great time. We played games, had treats, and got to see every one's costumes.

HALLOWEEN

This year we went trick-or-treating on the night before Halloween downtown. The boys had a great time. Since Aaron had to work on Halloween night, we also did the grandparents on Tuesday night. Wednesday we went to the neighbor's and our sitter's house, Jill. The boys had a great time. Austin was Spiderman and Ethan was Thomas the Train.

Pumpkin Carving

We did the annual pumpkin carving. Ethan mad a witch looking into a crystal ball, Austin made a face, Aaron made a Frankenstein, and Jess made a face. It was a fun a time. Way less messy than last year:)

Jackie's Surprise

Aunt Jackie surprised the boys one weekend. They were so excited that they knocked her down with hugs when she walked through the door:)
Here are some pictures of them playing football. The other pictures are of Ethan rocking his Ethan baby. :)

Poppy's Pumpkin Patch

We went to Poppy's Pumpkin Patch on one of the last nice October days. We had a great time. The only difficult time was in Jarrod's Jungle. About 3/4 of the way into the forest, there was a huge area of mud-nothing but mud. We decided instead of going back (the trail is about 30-45 minutes long) we would climb over and around dead trees, piles of leaves, etc. Aaron and Austin had a blast, but mom and Ethan didn't. Ethan tripped over a log and fell into some of the mud. In the end, we got out of the jungle, thank goodness! We had a great day together.
